since i can remember i have looked for a way to escape, in books, video games, people, music, substances. when your reality feels so horrible to look at that you long to be somewhere else, someone else, where the problems are not your own and the world is foreign and exciting. for a long time i used these worlds to repress and forget the things i was experiencing. Escapist is about turning your repression into expression. Escapist is me sharing my world with you and encouraging you to create your own. Escapist is about embracing your individuality and using it to create your home, as well as not being afraid to invite others into it. we all have a unique world inside of us, formed from all of our experiences. we all have so much love and beauty to show underneath our armor. all you have to do is be open to seeing where the path to escape takes you.
